Bedrooms

Our guest bedrooms, each with a double bed, are situated on the ground floor at the rear of the building. They offer a pleasant and comfortable environment. Each bedroom has its own entrance from our decked area at the side of the building - this gives you privacy and independence.

Each room contains:

An iron and ironing board are available for guests' use on request.

For safety and security, smoke alarms to the latest specifications are installed throughout the guest accommodation, and are interlinked. Emergency lighting in each room provides reassurance in the event of a power failure.

Smoking is not permitted inside the building. Sorry, but we do not accommodate pets. There is no residents' lounge.

Breakfast
Breakfast is served in the first-floor dining room, between 8.00 and 9.00 am. We serve a traditional full English breakfast, with other options available, including vegetarian. We use only top quality produce and use local producers and suppliers as much as we possibly can.

If you have any special dietary requirements, allergies or intolerances, we can probably help, but please advise and consult us when booking.

We do not serve evening meals, but there are plenty of restaurants and pubs to suit most tastes and pockets within easy walking distance. Many of these are listed in your bedroom information pack, and we will be happy to provide informed advice about eating places when you arrive.

Checking in and out
Check-in times are from 3.00 pm to 7.00 pm.

If you wish to arrive later than these times, please let us know in advance so that we can make the necessary arrangements to welcome you.

Guests are asked to check out of their rooms and the car parking area by 10.30 on the morning of departure.

About the building
This is an old (Grade II Listed) building with much history, and as well as containing our own living accommodation, it contains a ground floor shop. Each part of the building has separate outside access, and the shop operates only during normal daytime hours. Our guests will not be affected or disturbed in any way by this.

Parking
There are private off-road car parking spaces available for guests' use adjacent to the property (1 space per bedroom). Full details on the Location page.

Accessibility
Although the guest bedrooms are on the ground floor, they are not accessible with wheelchairs, due to the nature of the building. If you have special needs please phone us and we will be able to advise you on how we can help.
